We take pride in investing in the training and development of our staff, and we are currently seeking a talented Assistant Manager to join our team at the Richmond Mall store.
About the Role
In this dynamic and hands-on position, we are looking for a proven sales performer who is energetic and dedicated to achieving results for our brand. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for driving both individual and store-wide sales, as well as achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Your role will include:
- Inspiring and motivating the team daily by fostering a positive culture and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Managing in-store promotions and overseeing visual merchandising.
- Handling HR functions, including performance management and recruitment.
- Supporting the store manager with administrative tasks such as rostering, reporting, stocktakes, and stock management.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a natural ability to inspire and lead the team by working alongside them and setting a positive example. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A genuine passion and commitment to the retail industry.
- An enthusiastic, dynamic, driven, and self-motivated personality.
- Proven success and experience in a similar retail role.
- Initiative and the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Full working rights in New Zealand (please note that we are unable to provide sponsorship).
Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to earn a 1% commission on your personal monthly sales, along with discounts of up to 50% across our group network. Our work schedule includes a Sunday to Thursday roster with no late nights. You will receive a full training and induction program, along with ongoing training and development led by inspirational retail leaders who are passionate about their jobs.
