As a fast-paced and high-volume retailer, we operate more than 25 stores across New Zealand. Our diverse and rewarding culture makes this an exciting time to join our growing business as the new Store Manager for our Nelson CBD location.
About the Role
As the Store Manager, you will have a genuine passion for retail and be dedicated to leading your team and driving the store's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and developing your team to enhance their capabilities and unlock their potential.
- Motivating the team to achieve store targets and KPIs by leading by example and fostering a positive store culture.
- Overseeing all store operations, including visual merchandising, stock management, sales reporting, and staff rosters.
- Managing HR functions such as performance management, recruitment, and termination processes.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced people-focused leader who possesses:
- A strong leadership background with a minimum of 5 years of proven management experience.
- A confident, resilient, and outgoing personality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a busy environment.
- The ability to adapt and thrive under pressure, particularly in a high-volume and fast-paced business setting.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000, depending on experience. In addition, you can earn a monthly bonus and enjoy a generous 50% staff discount twice a year. Our schedule consists of a Tuesday to Saturday roster with 40 hours per week, ensuring no late-night shifts. You will also benefit from a biannual uniform allowance and online training and coaching led by our people-first regional and country manager. With significant store expansion planned across Australia and New Zealand, there are ample opportunities for career development.
