    About the Company We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized support to individuals with unique needs. Our focus is on enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring they feel empowered and engaged in their daily activities. We are currently seeking Support Workers to join our team and assist a vibrant young woman in her home environment. About the Role In this role, you will be part of a small, caring team that is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered support. You will assist a 21-year-old woman who is wheelchair-dependent and lives with a brain injury. Your work will involve: - Providing personal care and hygiene support - Assisting with McKey (PEG) feeding and medication management - Facilitating communication and social engagement - Encouraging participation in enjoyable activities and social outings - Supporting and respecting cultural values and practices Hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the potential to expand to include morning shifts as needed. The role is based in Kelston, in a friendly family home environment that welcomes dog lovers. Requirements We are looking for candidates who: - Speak fluent English and communicate effectively - Are physically fit and comfortable assisting with mobility - Preferably have knowledge of Te Reo Māori or a genuine willingness to learn - Have experience with PEG feeding (training can be provided) - Bring a warm, engaging, and patient approach to care - Are comfortable around dogs Benefits Joining our team means being part of a meaningful journey, supporting a young person's daily life and aspirations.
