About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join the Dynamix team and play a key role in our client’s success. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment while ensuring a high level of quality throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating SMT equipment.
- Setting up and operating a selective solder machine.
- Conducting quality checks and inspections on assembled boards.
- Collaborating with SMT team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience with SMT equipment and processes is preferred.
- A strong understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with IPC standards, such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001, is highly desirable.
Additionally, candidates must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, available for an immediate start, and willing to complete the pre-employment requirements set by Dynamix Recruitment.
