We are a dedicated recycling company committed to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our team plays a vital role in ensuring that recyclable materials are processed efficiently and effectively. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our day shift team focused on sorting recyclables.
About the Role
In this position, you will work a full week with consistent hours, primarily assisting in the sorting of various recyclable materials, including cardboard and paper, aluminum tins, plastic and glass bottles. Additionally, you will help remove refuse from the sorting line. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on training with heavy machinery and forklifts, with the potential for permanent employment down the line.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- A restricted license at a minimum (preferably a full Class 1) and your own transport
- Physical fitness, as you will be required to remain on your feet throughout your shift
