About the Role We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Serviceperson (Litter) to assist in maintaining our city’s assets to a high standard. In this role, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to the cleanliness and presentation of our suburban shopping centres. Your responsibilities will include: - Keeping shopping centres tidy through effective rubbish removal and cleaning. - Ensuring the cleanliness of litter bins and outdoor assets. - Emptying litter bins throughout the Porirua area according to scheduled cycles. - Engaging politely and calmly with retailers and members of the public while representing the City Services team. All About You We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and brings a safety-conscious approach to their tasks. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to reliability. The ideal candidate will possess: - Great interpersonal skills and a proven track record of reliability. - A full, unrestricted current driver’s license. - Previous experience in an active role is preferred.
