About the Role
We are excited to offer apprenticeship opportunities in plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying starting in 2025. As an apprentice, you will dive into hands-on learning from day one.
Your role will include:
- Conducting residential maintenance and installations
- Engaging in light commercial work
- Installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems
Throughout your apprenticeship, which typically lasts 4 to 5 years, you will earn while you learn, ultimately working towards your plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying qualifications.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess life experience and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates may have prior experience in another trade or a hands-on job, or simply a passion for practical work and problem-solving. Reliability, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to long-term growth are essential attributes we value.
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- Some practical or hands-on experience (desirable)
- At least a restricted driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug test and pre-employment medical examination
- New Zealand citizenship or residency
