At Odyssey House, we have been dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals affected by addiction and mental health issues for nearly 40 years. Based in Canterbury, our mission drives us to expand our services across residential, prison, and community sectors. Each year, we positively impact the lives of over 7,000 individuals, and as our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join us.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support our marketing efforts, manage events, and oversee our social media and communications strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of marketing materials, coordinating events, and enhancing our online presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing and preparing collateral such as articles, internal newsletters, brochures, media releases, and posters.
- Coordinating the execution of Odyssey events.
- Conducting interviews to develop diverse narratives.
- Creating and monitoring content for our social media platforms and website.
- Enhancing documents for both internal and external audiences using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you should:
- Be a hands-on individual who is eager to contribute to our mission.
- Have a background in digital graphics or communications.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to support our community and work collaboratively with our team.
- Possess a keen eye for detail in both graphics and text.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
