About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering premium doors to various commercial businesses and residential homes throughout the Canterbury region. Given the nature of this position, you will also need to assist with physical labour tasks as required. This position offers a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although these hours may vary depending on workload demands. Duties include: - Driving a Class 2 truck - Delivering doors to commercial businesses and residential homes - Manually loading and unloading the truck - Ensuring physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25 kg Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: - A valid Class 2 driver's license - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Proven driving experience - Capability to perform physical labour, including lifting up to 25 kg - Strong knowledge of the Christchurch area - A trustworthy nature with excellent customer service skills Benefits We offer a supportive work environment and the chance to be part of a leading company in the industry.
