About the Company
Wicklow Farm is a well-established dairy operation located on Gadsby Road. Our farm spans 360 hectares and milks 960 cows using a 50-bale rotary system, equipped with auto cup removers and an automatic teat spray system. We employ a flexible milking schedule that includes both twice-a-day and once-a-day milking regimes throughout the season, with a full once-a-day operation for half of the year.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic to join our farm team. This position is well-suited for couples, as there are opportunities for partners to work part-time or full-time within our team. We welcome career changers to apply, as we believe in the potential for growth and development in our workforce.
Responsibilities include milking and related tasks, herding cows, setting up break fences, and safely operating farm machinery. Our commitment to your professional development is strong; we offer various training opportunities along with participation in industry discussion groups and workshops to enhance your skills.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, a full driver's license is essential. Additionally, we maintain a drug-free working environment, and employment is contingent upon passing a drug test.
