About the Company We are a dedicated dairy farm located in Maungatautari, Waikato, New Zealand, seeking a motivated individual to join our team. About the Role We are looking for a dairy farm worker to start in July 2025. This position is suitable for one individual and includes provided accommodation. The workload in dairy farming fluctuates throughout the year, with a quieter period at the beginning of calving that transitions to a busy schedule as the season progresses. We guarantee 80 hours of work every fortnight, typically spread across 8 to 9 days. A standard workday can range from 8 to 10 hours, depending on the season, and while additional work may occasionally be available, it is not guaranteed. Typical start times are around 5 am, with finishing times around 5:30 pm, including a midday break. Please note that work hours may vary based on farm conditions. Requirements The role involves physically demanding work, so previous agricultural experience or a suitable level of physical fitness would be advantageous, though not strictly necessary. Candidates must be able to ride a two-wheeled motorbike and hold a working holiday visa or have legal entitlement to work in New Zealand. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit to 4 to 6 months of work. Basic English communication skills are required, and due to the rural nature of our farm, it is essential that you are comfortable living alone and away from urban areas. Having your own vehicle is recommended to ensure ease of travel.
