About the Role
We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at The Doctors Marshlands. This is a permanent position, offering 32 hours of work per week, spread across four days from Monday to Friday, with hours between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. In this role, you will report directly to the Medical Centre Manager and will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional service.

Requirements
To excel as a Medical Receptionist/Administrator, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to customer service
- Proficiency in computer and IT literacy
- Experience in administrative roles (medical background preferred but not essential)
- A friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with New Zealand Practice Management Systems (desirable)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival
- Communicating with patients and the public in person, via phone, and through email
- Answering incoming telephone calls and booking appointments
- Invoicing and collecting patient fees
- Providing general administrative support and cash handling
