About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist, reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Support Manager. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day administrative functions that ensure compliance in the costing, receipt, sale, and delivery of products. This includes tracking international freight shipments. This intermediate-level position is ideal for someone with 3 to 8 years of administration experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking the sales cycle of our Volvo and Yanmar construction equipment, which encompasses contract administration, order documentation compliance, invoicing, scheduling, and finalizing deliveries.
- Providing detailed international freight tracking, administration, and data entry support to the wider Supply Chain team for our imported units.
- Performing reconciliation tasks for our Shell Lubricants division to confirm that products have been received in the country and redirected to the appropriate warehouses.
- Conducting inventory and purchase order reconciliation.
- Producing various reports to support Supply Chain functions.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Previous sales support experience.
- A background in logistics, heavy machinery, or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with AX is a plus.
- A proactive approach and ability to use initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A friendly and outgoing demeanor that thrives in a social environment.
