About the Role
We are currently seeking three full-time fixed-term administrators to join our Planned Care Team at the Christchurch and Burwood Health Campuses. This role is a six-month position, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The primary focus will be to assist medical and surgical health specialties with administrative tasks related to validating our Planned Care Outpatient Waiting Lists. This role has been mapped to the National Role Profile/Band 4A as part of the Administration Pay Equity Claim settlement.

What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the assigned health specialty to contact patients on our waiting lists.
- Complete reporting requirements related to the data validation process.
- Update patient information using our patient management systems (SI PICS).
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and responsiveness in all communications.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical booking processes.
- Experience with SI PICS or similar patient management systems.
- Awareness of cultural diversity and the ability to engage effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
