About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Line Mechanic to join our team in Stratford, Taupo, or Palmerston North. This position offers an immediate start for qualified candidates. You will report directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for working on the Transpower network across the North Island. Your primary focus will be on construction and maintenance replacement projects related to network equipment and installations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- EWRB Transmission Line Mechanic registration or license
- A National Certificate in Electrical Supply NZQF Level 4 or an equivalent qualification
- A current Class 1 driver's license (Class 2 preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The physical stamina required to perform manual work in various conditions
