About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our fast-paced team at the Hillmorton Health Campus in Christchurch. This full-time permanent position requires working 40 hours per week, providing essential cleaning services every day of the year, including day and night shifts. The starting hourly rate for this position is $27.80, in accordance with the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Completing all cleaning tasks to a high standard.
- Ensuring daily schedules and task lists are completed within designated time frames.
- Collaborating with fellow cleaners to ensure timely task completion.
- Matching service requirements to the clinical needs of the facility.
- Maintaining equipment and operating it according to specifications.
- Utilizing the appropriate chemicals and dilutions for cleaning.
About You

Key skills and experience include:
- A strong commitment to patient confidentiality.

- Effective time management skills.
- Previous cleaning experience, particularly in a healthcare setting, is preferred but not essential.
