About the Role We are currently seeking an Internal Translator who will be responsible for linguistically and culturally interpreting written material. Your role will involve maintaining or replicating the structure and style of original texts while ensuring that the ideas and facts remain accurate. Fluency in two or more languages is essential, along with the ability to research industry-specific terminology. A strong commitment to quality and accuracy is crucial, as is the ability to demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills when faced with challenging content and instructions. In this role, you will build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translations Services team, playing a key part in the effectiveness and success of our operations. You will work collaboratively to update or improve glossaries, Translation Memories, Style Guides, and other internal assets. Identifying gaps in instructions or external issues that may affect our commitment to clients will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will proofread translated texts for accuracy in terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Requirements - Native speaker of Korean - Fluency in source language(s) - A minimum of 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents - A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience, or no university degree with at least 5 years of translation experience - Experience with translation management systems and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools Interview Process If selected for this role, you will be required to complete a short video assessment, which is mandatory for all applicants and will take no more than 20 minutes. Shortlisted candidates will then complete a Translation Test that will be evaluated by our team based on proficiency and accuracy.
