About the Role
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Senior Driller to join our team in Pukekohe. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing all equipment and stock required for daily operations, which includes consumables, pipe, and job-specific equipment. You will operate the drill rig and ancillary equipment, supervise and train Driller Assistants, and manage site leadership responsibilities.
Your duties will also involve ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety policies, as well as documenting time spent, technical information, consumables, and equipment used on site. This full-time position consists of ordinary hours of 40 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $33 to $36, depending on your experience.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Significant experience operating drilling rigs, particularly in Geotechnical Drilling and Rotary Coring
- Experience in CPT, DMT, and Seismic Testing
- A valid Class 4 driver's license
- A good level of physical fitness and a preference for outdoor work
- Willingness to travel for exciting and challenging assignments
