Ultimately, our goal is to make our customers' jobs easier by delivering on our promises. About the Role We are currently seeking a Service Person Driver to join our team. As the representative of Kennards Hire, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers with the training and development necessary for success. This position serves as the vital link between our branches and our customers, ensuring that their projects, regardless of size, proceed smoothly. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Instructing and demonstrating the safe use of our equipment to customers. - Performing equipment pickups and deliveries, which involves safely loading and unloading items at customer sites. - Providing exceptional customer service in all interactions. - Maintaining the high standard and quality of our equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs. - Performing cleaning and maintenance of branch facilities and equipment as necessary. - Conducting equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections. About You We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including customer service, construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, and trade and maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need: - A valid driver's license. - Availability to work some weekends on a rotating roster. - Physical fitness to handle lifting and standing for extended periods. - Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning. - An interest in machinery and equipment, with training provided. - A positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player. Salary Breakdown The base salary for this position is $58,300. In addition, you can earn a profit share of up to $4,000, a weekend allowance of $2,340, and contributions to KiwiSaver (opt-in option). Please note that the profit share is variable and paid twice a year based on the financial performance of the branch and the company, as well as the quality standards achieved. The weekend allowance is contingent upon the number of weekend days worked, with rates of $90 for a full day and $45 for a half day.
