About the Role We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our community services team. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients by assisting them in maintaining their independence within their homes and communities. As a Support Worker, you will work as part of a dedicated team to help clients achieve their goals through both practical and emotional support, all while following personalized care plans. Your tasks may include: - Meal preparation - Medication supervision - Community outings - Personal care (such as showering and toileting) - Home management (including cleaning and organizing) Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for individuals who can work weekends and possess a positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping others. Previous caregiving experience is advantageous, along with strong communication skills. While healthcare qualifications are a plus, they are not mandatory. Most positions require a full New Zealand driver’s license and reliable transport. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $23.38 to $29.10, depending on experience and qualifications. We provide flexibility with a variety of shifts available from 7 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Sunday, with full-time and part-time positions offered.
