About the Role As the Bakery Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Bakery Manager with daily operations. You will lead and motivate a team of bakers and assistants, ensuring the production of top-quality baked goods and delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include managing stock levels, assisting with ordering, and upholding food safety and hygiene standards. You will also be involved in training new team members and providing support for their development. In the absence of the Bakery Manager, you will step up to take on additional responsibilities. Requirements We are looking for candidates with experience in a bakery or food production environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a hands-on, can-do attitude. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays is necessary. A solid understanding of food safety practices and a genuine passion for baking and working with people will also set you apart.
