    Description

About the Company We are the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand, dedicated to creating a greener and fairer future for our communities. Our mission aligns with sustainable development goals, including the promotion of equality, environmental stewardship, and social justice. About the Role We are seeking a passionate individual with proven campaign experience to join our Wellington office in a fixed-term position from July to October 2025. In this full-time role, you will support local Green Party campaign teams in running successful Local Body Election campaigns. As the Local Body Field Coordinator, you will work closely with the Field Manager to assist in various areas, including volunteer recruitment and management, volunteer training, and coordination of voter contact initiatives such as door-knocking, calling, and events. You will ensure accurate data entry and management surrounding these voter contact events. Our ideal candidate is comfortable using online campaign tools and engaging directly with volunteer office-holders and campaign volunteers. Please note that the member-driven nature of our organization requires flexibility, and the Field Coordinator will need to be available for some evening and weekend work, particularly in the lead-up to the Local Body Elections. Requirements We are particularly keen to hear from Māori and Pasifika candidates, as we are committed to promoting diversity and equal employment opportunities. We recognize that applying for positions can be challenging for young individuals, those with disabilities, LGBTIQA+ individuals, women, and people of color. We welcome conversations about how we can support your application process. Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $60,442 to $86,538, pro-rata, based on our collective agreement payscale. How to Apply If you would like to apply, please email us at the provided address to request an application pack by Monday, June 2. We look forward to hearing from you and exploring how you can contribute to our mission.
