About the Role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village in Christchurch. This part-time position requires you to work from Saturday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a diverse program of recreational, social, and craft activities for our residents. Your efforts will play a crucial part in promoting happiness, well-being, and a high quality of life for everyone in our community. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues to provide support and ensure a nurturing environment.
Requirements
To thrive in our supportive and caring setting, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong empathy and compassion
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
Additionally, a full driver’s license is required, along with the ability to drive a manual van.

While experience in aged care is preferred, it is not essential.
