About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our supportive team as a Cook's Assistant at the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Nelson. This is a full-time position with hours from Tuesday to Saturday. In this role, you will assist our chefs in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. Your responsibilities will include supporting food preparation and presentation, as well as collaborating closely with your colleagues to ensure a smooth kitchen operation. About You To thrive in our nurturing environment, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or a willingness to obtain this qualification - Proven experience in food preparation - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor - A strong emphasis on food hygiene and cleanliness Please note that while we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, applicants must have New Zealand work rights due to immigration requirements for this position.
