About the Role We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Cooks Assistant at the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Nelson. This full-time position requires availability from Tuesday to Saturday. In this role, you will assist our Chefs in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. You will play a vital part in food preparation and presentation, while also collaborating with and supporting your colleagues to ensure a smooth operation. About You To thrive in our caring and supportive environment, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or a willingness to obtain this certification - Proven experience in food preparation - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor - A strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness Please note that while we welcome applications from overseas candidates, applicants must have New Zealand work rights for this position due to immigration requirements.
