About the Role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Cooks Assistant at the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Nelson. This full-time position requires availability from Tuesday to Saturday.
In this role, you will assist our Chefs in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. You will play a vital part in food preparation and presentation, while also collaborating with and supporting your colleagues to ensure a smooth operation.
About You
To thrive in our caring and supportive environment, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or a willingness to obtain this certification
- Proven experience in food preparation
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
- A strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness
