About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Imaging Technologist with experience in diagnostic imaging and an interest in CT training to join our team at Taupo Hospital on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE). Our Radiology Department at Taupo Hospital is a small and friendly team that is committed to providing excellent patient care through quality general x-ray and CT services. The department is equipped with one x-ray room, a mobile unit, and a Toshiba CT scanner. Currently, our team of four Medical Imaging Technologists provides a 24-hour service for general imaging. For more specialized care, Taupo patients can access services at Rotorua Hospital, which offers General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for exposure to CT at Rotorua Hospital, with required rotations through the CT Department for training.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- MRTB registration
- Current APC in Diagnostic Imaging
- Experience in CT is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided
- Ability to participate in the after-hours roster

Salary Range
The salary range for this position, as per the Collective Agreement, is between $74,842 and $110,000.
