Description
About the Company
For over 120 years, we have been dedicated to supporting Kiwis on their journeys. The New Zealand Automobile Association (AA) has transformed from a motoring enthusiast's club into a large, dynamic organization that provides a wide array of services and products to more than 1.1 million members. We pride ourselves on being one of New Zealand's most respected and trusted brands. As we continue to evolve and expand into new areas, we are excited to offer new challenges and opportunities to our team.
About the Role
We invite you to become your own boss as a contractor with our AA Battery team. This role allows you to utilize your automotive technical skills and knowledge in a flexible work environment, engaging with a diverse range of individuals every day.
In this position, you will provide expert technical advice, diagnose vehicle battery-related faults, and assist our members in getting back on the road. You will articulate the value proposition of the AA membership while supporting all of our products and services. This role is based in Christchurch.
About You
We are looking for individuals with experience in managing their own successful business and a strong understanding of New Zealand legislation. While a relevant automotive or auto-electrical qualification is preferred, it is not essential.
You should have a strong aptitude for learning business processes and effectively using various technology applications. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to delivering commercial services are key attributes we value in our team members.
Benefits
We offer a performance-based incentive contract payment, ongoing training, and technical support to help you succeed. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive management team and engage in new product developments and service initiatives that enhance your business.
Working with us means being part of a team that celebrates diversity and values your authentic self.
