About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic physiotherapists to provide inpatient coverage across the Christchurch Health Campus, a dynamic and busy acute hospital. Our team of physiotherapists benefits from ongoing professional development opportunities, allowing for personal and professional growth. These roles offer a unique chance to explore various clinical areas and may lead to more permanent positions within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting expert assessments, implementing appropriate interventions, and providing advice or referrals to other services as needed. You will also have the opportunity to supervise and mentor students and junior colleagues as you advance in your career, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. About You We are looking for physiotherapists who are eager to deliver high-quality care to patients at Christchurch Campus. The ideal candidate will possess a flexible and adaptable approach, with a strong enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across disciplines. Key qualifications include: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A broad range of experience in a tertiary care environment - Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to beginning this journey - The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team - New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist status with a current Annual Practicing Certificate Working for Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we prioritize the well-being of our community and strive to ensure equitable healthcare for all.
