About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary residential team at our Ilam Rd facility in Christchurch. This part-time position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing residents who primarily have experienced traumatic or acquired brain injuries. You will play a vital role in developing enablement plans that support residents in achieving their lifestyle goals and maximizing their independence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong interest in disability, neurology, and enablement. You must be a registered Physiotherapist approved by the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. Previous experience in teaching, educating others, or running groups will be beneficial. While knowledge of moving and handling is desired, it is not essential.
