About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a District Nurse in Lakes Hospital Rotorua, on a part-time, 0.7 FTE, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of postgraduate experience in a hospital setting. While previous experience in community service or district nursing is advantageous, it is not a requirement. This role offers child-friendly hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and includes a weekend roster approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. A vehicle will be provided for work purposes. Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must have: - Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand - A current Annual Practising Certificate - A valid driver's license for both automatic and manual vehicles, with the ability to drive in rural areas - Self-management skills, energy, and a proactive approach to working in a challenging environment - Flexibility and a keen interest in new initiatives Working at Health New Zealand We strive to provide excellent healthcare for the diverse communities of New Zealand.
