About the Role We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic tuakana teaching team in Ngā Puāwai (Blossoms). This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will collaborate with a committed team to create safe and engaging learning environments. Here, children have the opportunity to play independently or collaboratively, enhancing their communication, problem-solving, and social skills. We base our learning approach on each child's interests and needs, while also supporting school transitions with regular visits to local schools. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need: - A Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (Early Childhood Education or Primary) and current Teacher Certification - A strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending learning - Sound knowledge of current ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance - A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practice - A passion for early childhood education, professionalism, and a focus on delivering quality education Benefits We offer a supportive mentoring and induction program for teachers, along with professional learning opportunities through our online platform, Whare Ako.
