About the Role
We are seeking a registered Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist to join our team working on a mobile dental unit in Waihi and the surrounding areas. This role presents an exciting opportunity for both new graduates and experienced practitioners to contribute to a national initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes.
In this position, you will manage comprehensive oral health services and play a vital role in eliminating health disparities within our community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting oral health assessments and developing personalized care plans.
- Providing preventive and therapeutic dental treatments.
- Educating patients on best practices for oral hygiene and disease prevention.
- Collaborating with the broader healthcare team to promote holistic patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
