About the Role We are currently seeking strong and reliable laborers to join our client's residential building team in Christchurch. In this hands-on role, you will be involved in various tasks, ranging from digging out jacking pads and heavy lifting to general building site work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple trades while collaborating with a dedicated team. With several projects on the horizon, dependable workers can look forward to ongoing employment and a busy year ahead. Wages: $25.00 per hour Location: Christchurch What’s In It For You You will earn $25 per hour, with weekly pay. We offer long-term work on a pipeline of projects, ensuring job security. Our crew culture is vibrant, with plenty of camaraderie and music on-site to maintain a positive atmosphere. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: - Digging out jacking pads for foundations - General building site laboring - Assisting builders, roofers, and other tradespeople - Helping with fencing, nets, and site preparation - Engaging in heavy lifting and manual labor What We Require We are looking for candidates who are: - Physically fit and strong, as the role involves demanding work - Preferably experienced in laboring or groundwork - Familiar with the use of hand tools - Reliable, hardworking, and a true team player - In possession of a valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (we can assist with this) - Able to pass a pre-employment drug test Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
