We are a dedicated team in Christchurch looking to expand our workforce with a skilled hammerhand for a full-time, long-term position. Our company specializes in assembling pre-nail frames and trusses for the building industry, providing a stable indoor work environment free from weather interruptions.
About the Role
In this role, you will work indoors at our factory, assembling frames and trusses that are essential for construction projects. Your hours will be Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with additional Saturday shifts as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, we require:
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving materials
- Previous experience as a hammerhand or in a frame and truss role
- A minimum of a restricted driver's license and access to your own transport
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
- A clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record
