    About the Company We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland, dedicated to providing health and disability services to over half a million residents in central Auckland, while also serving the wider Northland and greater Auckland regions, as well as offering specialist services at a national level. Our primary facilities are located at Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and Starship Children's Hospital, all situated in the heart of Auckland. About the Role We are currently seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our expanding Radiology Department at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. In this permanent, full-time role, you will work 80 hours per fortnight, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:30 PM from Monday to Friday, including weekends and an on-call roster. You will have the opportunity to provide radiological services using our four state-of-the-art MRI scanners located at all three of our sites: - A 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner at Auckland City Hospital, primarily for cardiac imaging and a mix of inpatient and outpatient work. - A 3T Siemens Vida scanner at Auckland City Hospital, used mainly for acute and inpatient procedures. - A 3T Siemens Skyra scanner at Greenlane Clinical Centre, designated for outpatient examinations. - A 3T Siemens Skyra at Starship Children's Hospital, utilized for both pediatric and adult cases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans on both pediatric and adult patients across all sites. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate. For further details, please visit mrtboard.org.nz. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in MRI, and those with MRI cardiac experience will be highly regarded. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
