About the Role
We have several Process Worker positions available for the 2025-2026 season, starting in October. While relevant experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as we provide full training for all new hires. These positions will be day shifts, and applicants must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
These full-time positions guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a base pay of at least $705.00 per week. There is potential to earn more when considering additional allowances and piece rates. Please note that hours may exceed 30 hours per week depending on seasonal workflows and annual close-down periods.
Responsibilities
As a Process Worker, your duties will include:
- Performing yard duties and handling livestock
- Processing meat carcasses according to customer specifications
- Separating organs and glands from carcasses using safe knife handling practices
- Operating machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or products
- Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers
- Loading meat products into trucks
- Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and work areas
