About the Role
We are currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Napier team. If you are located in Wellington and are considering a change, this opportunity allows you to trade the hustle and bustle of city life for the beauty of Hawke’s Bay. Our location offers a lower cost of living, shorter commutes, and a lifestyle that includes beaches, wineries, and plenty of sunshine.
In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by installing, commissioning, servicing, and testing fire sprinkler systems, hose reels, special hazards, and hydrant systems. You will represent Wormald New Zealand Limited on-site in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all systems are installed according to the provided drawings and directions.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess relevant experience within the fire industry or have at least three years of experience as a plumber. You should be capable of working from technical drawings and be proficient in the fitting of pipes, valves, pumps, and accessories in firefighting systems.
