About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and skilled professional suspended ceiling installer to become part of our expanding team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, where you will utilize your expertise in construction and installation to achieve high-quality results for our clients. You will collaborate closely with other staff and contractors on-site while consistently adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings and plans.
- Installing suspended ceilings efficiently and accurately, whether independently or while managing a team.
- Understanding seismic requirements and interpreting drawings for compliance.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Inspecting completed work to guarantee adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience installing suspended ceilings.
- Detailed knowledge of suspended ceiling systems and components.
- Proven ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and plans.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant qualifications or training in ceiling installation techniques (preferred).
- Ownership of necessary tools and reliable transportation.
