About the Role We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator to join our team at the Whangarei Depot, located on Union East Street. This full-time, permanent position operates from Monday to Friday, with hours from 07:00 to 15:30. In this role, you will play a vital part in engaging our workforce to ensure the timely and efficient processing and delivery of our customers' mail and parcels. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Interacting with delivery agents, courier drivers, rural delivery drivers, customer service teams, and warehouse staff. - Monitoring and enhancing productivity within the contracted delivery team. - Assisting with customer queries and participating in team decision-making processes. - Undertaking essential administrative tasks. - Occasionally traveling within the region. If you possess exceptional leadership skills and are eager to advance your career, we encourage you to apply. You will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to motivate, lead, and coach our contracted delivery fleet. Requirements To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: - Intermediate level computer skills. - A valid full New Zealand driver’s license. - Confidence in interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds through face-to-face communication, phone calls, and email. - Experience in fleet management or logistics is highly desirable, though not essential if you have relevant transferable skills. - A proven ability to perform well under pressure and make sound decisions independently. - A sense of responsibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the willingness to engage in difficult conversations. - An openness to challenges, adaptability to change, and the ability to work amidst ambiguity.
