Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for the Night Shift to join our expanding operation in Victoria, Australia. In this hands-on role, you will oversee the continuous operation of our plant and equipment during the night shift. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring effective preventive maintenance and a swift response to any breakdowns in our fast-paced processing environment. Your leadership responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all workers and individuals under your supervision. - Identifying and controlling hazards in the workplace while promoting and enforcing safe work practices. - Actively supporting the recovery and return-to-work process for any injured team members. - Ensuring full compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience: - A relevant trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical fields. - A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising a maintenance team in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. - A strong background in industrial electrical maintenance. - A solid understanding of industrial electronics and high-speed manufacturing. - Experience in meat or food processing environments is preferred. - Knowledge of PLC programming (for electrical roles) is beneficial. - Familiarity with MEX maintenance systems is desirable.
