    Location: Ruakaka/ Whangārei, Northland Employment Type: Casual / On-Call About the Company We are a dedicated organization providing essential support services across Northland. As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking reliable and compassionate individuals to join our casual support team in Whangārei. About the Role In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their homes and communities. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting. - Providing medication support. - Preparing meals and managing home-related tasks. - Assisting with mobility and daily routines. - Offering companionship and facilitating community outings. You will have the opportunity to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, based on client needs and your availability. About You We are looking for support workers who possess: - Previous experience in disability care, aged care, mental health, or community support. - Confidence in working independently in home-based settings. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism. - A Full or Restricted NZ driver's licence (own transport is preferred). - Eligibility to work in New Zealand. While relevant qualifications, such as the NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing, are advantageous, strong experience and the right attitude are equally valued.
