About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the setup and daily operation of our sKids Programme. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and developing ‘AWESOME kiwi kids.’ Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day supervisory care, managing programme delivery, and enhancing relationships with parents and school staff.
You will also be responsible for daily administrative tasks and managing team members to ensure our programme runs smoothly.
The position offers 22.5+ hours per week, with shifts scheduled between our before and/or after school programmes. Additional hours are available during school holidays.
Our working hours are as follows:
- Before school: 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM
- After school: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
- Holiday Programmes: Anytime between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The role is based at Titahi Bay School in Porirua, Wellington.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- A strong passion for working with children aged 5-12 and inspiring them to develop their confidence while being true to themselves.
- Previous experience in childcare, education, or a related field, particularly in organizing before and after school programmes, is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be the primary liaison between sKids and the parents.
- A valid New Zealand work or student visa, or be a New Zealand resident or citizen.
Please note that to comply with the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004, only applicants over the age of 20 will be considered for this role.
