About the Role
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Matua Marlborough team. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary laboratory team that provides essential technical services and support to our winemaking and cellar teams.
Your responsibilities will include conducting quality control checks through routine sampling, testing, and reporting. You will also engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving, maintain and enhance quality systems, and support your fellow team members within our close-knit environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess experience in the use and maintenance of a variety of laboratory instrumentation. A tertiary qualification in a scientific field is preferred but not mandatory. You should be prepared to work flexible hours during our peak harvest period.
We seek someone with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills. You should be pragmatic, self-motivated, and focused on delivering solutions and customer satisfaction. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is essential. Practical experience in the beverage or food industry will be highly regarded.
