About the Role
We are excited to invite you to join us as a Grader Operator, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Tauranga. If you are passionate about connecting communities, delivering high-quality infrastructure, and caring for the places we call home, we want to hear from you. In this position, you will operate the grader with skill and precision across various pavement construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include interpreting plans and specifications to ensure exceptional results, performing daily equipment checks and basic maintenance, and collaborating with supervisors and crew members to meet project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full Class 1 driver's license, WTR, and Class 2 endorsements (essential)
- Experience with machine control for graders
- Solid background as a grader operator in civil infrastructure
- A safety-first attitude and keen attention to detail
- A proactive approach, reliability, and a genuine pride in delivering quality work
