About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled GPS Excavator Operator to join our high-performing civil construction team. In this role, you will operate modern and well-maintained excavators on various projects, including site works, drainage, roading, and subdivision development.
Accuracy is essential in this position, so a strong proficiency with GPS systems such as Top Con, Leica, Trimble, or similar is required. You will need to be comfortable reading plans and producing clean, precise cuts. Additionally, you will assist the ground crew as needed to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain a safe site environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating GPS-equipped excavators to complete earthworks, trenching, shaping, and final trim.
- Following site plans and GPS models to achieve high-accuracy results.
- Performing daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Collaborating with site crews to support project delivery and maintain safe operating zones.
- Communicating clearly with supervisors and teammates to ensure efficient progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a GPS Excavator Operator.
- Proficiency in GPS systems, with the ability to read plans accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid relevant certifications and licenses.
