About the Role We are currently seeking experienced GPS Digger Operators to join us for a long-term project commencing in the new year. In this role, you will be working across various major sites in Tauranga, where you will operate GPS-controlled machinery involved in large-scale civil works. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting bulk earthworks on significant civil projects - Performing trenching and service-related excavation - Executing final trim tasks using GPS machine control - Carrying out general operational tasks as needed on site Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria: - Proven experience operating diggers with GPS machine control - WTR endorsement (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) - A minimum of a Class 4 license - A strong understanding of civil construction site requirements - A commitment to safe and efficient work practices - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test - Capability to provide a clear Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check Benefits We offer several benefits to our employees, including: - On-site parking - Weekly pay - Potential for ongoing work on a long-term project Why Work with Tradestaff?
