Stellar Recruitment is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our clients' well-performing dealerships located across several locations in Auckland. Our client represents a multi-franchised automotive group known for its high-volume brands and strong presence in the New Zealand market. About the Role
In this role, you will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend commitments. You will be part of a well-established franchise workshop, benefiting from a consistent workflow. The ideal candidate will possess a background in workshop or dealership environments, with a Warrant of Fitness (WOF) being highly desirable.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- An Automotive Trade qualification
- Good communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in diagnosing and servicing both petrol and diesel vehicles
- A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in service, diagnosis, and repair
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Performing effective engine and electrical diagnostics
- Delivering high-quality service and maintaining communication with the Foreman and front desk service teams
- Keeping accurate records of repairs, services, and warranty processes
- Staying updated with the latest technical advancements and new model training
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations in the workshop
