About the Role
We are seeking an Automotive Diagnostic Technician who will play a critical role in servicing and maintaining European vehicles according to strict manufacturing specifications. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults using VAS and AMDS, interpreting complex technical data, and resolving issues related to high-performance suspension, engines, and electronics.
You will also be tasked with accurately completing repair order records in line with factory and warranty requirements, ensuring that your workmanship meets the high standards expected from our brand. You will be joining a well-established team where the collective knowledge and experience will be invaluable to your professional growth. You will be supported by a respected Service Manager who is dedicated to the personal development of his team and encourages career growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A qualified Automotive Technician (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent)
- Experience working with high-end luxury vehicles, such as Audi or Volkswagen
- HV certification is highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- A full New Zealand driver's license
