About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team at Papakura Toyota. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes, primarily focusing on Toyota. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and our workshop processes. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota and other vehicle makes to a high standard. - Carry out routine maintenance, WOF checks (if certified, preferable), servicing, and safety inspections. - Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve faults. - Communicate effectively with service advisors and contribute to a team-oriented environment. - Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. What We're Looking For - A qualified Automotive Technician with a Level 4 Certificate or equivalent. - Proven industry experience; Toyota experience is beneficial but not essential. - WOF Authority is an advantage but not required. - Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. - A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability. - A full New Zealand driver’s license. - Eligibility to work in New Zealand; we are an Accredited Employer and can support the right candidate with a work visa.
