About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious professional to join our dynamic Crossdock team at the Seaview Branch. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a keen attention to detail, and can handle freight with care and efficiency, we would be excited to welcome you to our team. The typical working hours for this role are from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with some flexibility required. What You'll Be Doing In this position, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks and containers with speed and accuracy. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and planning teams to ensure that operations run smoothly and on time. What We’re Looking For We are looking for candidates who have: - Extensive forklift driving experience in a high-volume, controlled operation. - Experience and confidence in loading and unloading trucks and containers. - An OSH Forklift license, with an F endorsement being highly regarded. - Strong counting and mathematical skills. - Experience in checking consignments for damage and ensuring correct quantities. - Competence in completing paperwork and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. - A willingness to learn new technology and comfort with using it. - A commitment to health and safety practices. - Proficiency in English with strong communication skills. - Physical fitness and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug tests.
